What is the full-time program at GOC?
Gwinnett Online Campus (GOC), the school system’s full-time diploma-granting school with grades K-12, offers a flexible learning environment, extensive support from teachers and counselors, individualized instruction, and a full range of courses. GOC students must meet all graduation requirements for credits and assessments.
Unlike the traditional setting, GOC students work online at the time of day that works best for their schedule. During on-campus club and other organized meetings, along with other opportunities such as on and off-campus Rich Experiences, students form study groups and friendships while enhancing 21st century skills.
The Best Online School in the Nation
Gwinnett Online Campus (GOC) is an accredited, award-winning Gwinnett County Public School that offers a flexible learning environment for students throughout the GCPS district. This year, over 2,000 students are enrolled full-time in grades K – 12.
A Blended Approach to Learning
The instructional program for students in grades K – 12 offers a blended approach. This means students complete work online and also have the opportunity to attend virtual lessons each week and have a variety of face-to-face opportunities. Students in grades K - 3 learn with teachers from home synchronously throughout the week, with opportunities to come to campus and work with their teachers and peers in small groups. Grades 4 - 8 students attend Learning Labs virtually three mornings per week. High School students attend CORE Labs virtually one morning per week with additional opportunities to meet directly with teachers online to receive support or have questions answered.
