Fine Arts

General Information

Gwinnett Online Campus is pleased to offer several classes in the fine arts, including music, theatre, and art. In addition to classes, activities are offered on campus, including an annual talent show and musical theatre productions. Fine Arts Rich Experiences are special activities in music, drama, or art that are included in select GOC Friday activities. See the weekly #GOCOWLS newsletter for schedules and details. The high school orchestra and chorus classes are hybrid classes where students partner with the Gwinnett Symphony Youth Orchestra and Gwinnett Symphony Chorus for rehearsals and performances, while the rest of the course content is online.

High School Chorus (Please Note: Prerequisite is 3 years of experience singing OR teacher approval. Students must attend rehearsals and performances outside of the school day.)

High School Orchestra (Please Note: Prerequisite is 3 years of experience playing violin, viola, cello, or bass OR teacher approval. Students must provide their own instrument for the class and attend rehearsals and performances outside of the school day.)

High School Advanced Placement Music Theory

AP Music Theory courses require students to pick up workbooks from our campus. These materials can be picked up during our scheduled materials pickup times each semester.
