Regular attendance and active participation are key to students' success in our online learning environment. When attending live sessions, students are expected to have their cameras turned on and be actively engaged in the lesson.
Daily Attendance Criteria by Grade Level
To be marked present, students must be logged into their live sessions during the designated core instructional hours listed below. If a student does not attend during these times, they will be marked absent for the day.
- Grades K–2:
Must be logged into live sessions between 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
- Grade 3:
Must be logged into live sessions between 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
- Grades 4–5:
Must be logged into live sessions between 8:30 AM – 12:20 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and must also attend Homeroom Support sessions on Tuesdays from 8:30 AM – 9:20 AM.
Reporting Absences
If your child is absent for any reason, please email all of your child’s teachers to inform them of the absence and provide any documentation to support an excused absence.
