Final Exams at GOC

Final exams are given at the end of each semester to all students at all grade levels. The final exams are cumulative and summative assessments that help indicate the preparedness of students for the next course based on the knowledge gained in their current course. Failure to take a test will result in a grade of 0% being given for the assessment. Please make sure to check the calendar and schedules for more specific information pertaining to exact dates and times of final exams.

  • Students in Carnegie credit courses will be required to complete their final exams in person.
  • It is recommended that students complete their assessments on their GCPS issued computers.
  • These are timed tests. Students will have 60-65 minutes to complete the assessment.
  • Zeros will be entered for students who do not complete the final exam.
  • There is an academic honesty statement that is expected to be adhered to during testing.
  • If there is an emergency during testing, please email Melissa.Torrens@gcpsk12.org.

*All make-up testing information was emailed to your GCPS student email account and parent email accounts on file with GCPS on December 9th. Check your email for all make-up testing information. We will hold makeups on:

  • January 5 at 9:00 a.m.

  • January 6 at 12:00 p.m. & 3:30 p.m.
