GOC Assessments 2025-26
*Specific testing dates within the county testing windows will be communicated to families and posted on the specific assessment page on the GOC website before each testing window.

GOC Assessment Resources
Students are required to take the same assessments and tests as any student enrolled in a traditional brick-and-mortar school in Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS). Specific testing dates will be provided when available. All testing communication will be emailed to student GCPS email accounts and family emails on file with the school.
Gwinnett County Public Schools offers a balanced assessment system. Throughout the school year, students will participate in a variety of formative and summative assessments. GOC supports the GCPS assessment plan and rigor through both in-person and remote testing opportunities based on the schedule provided.
Students and families should be aware that all indicated testing windows include the main administration. Once a testing window has concluded, assessments will no longer be available. Checking pacing guides and reading all communication regarding testing is crucial to a student’s success.
Testing that takes place in a school building will require the use of a GCPS Chromebook. Due to internet connectivity, updates, and testing platform applications, student’s personal devices cannot be used on campus. Please be sure to pick up your GCPS Chromebook before in-person testing takes place.
Visit the GCPS Department of Accountability and Assessment page for information and additional resources for each test type.
*GOC students, on an individual basis, may be asked to complete assessments on campus at any time throughout the semester per the discretion of administration and the testing office.
Here are a few suggestions on ways to support your child during test time:
Testing for GIVE students, Supplemental students, & Center students
- If you are a student at GIVE East or GIVE West, you will test at that location. Please reach out to your testing coordinator for your testing dates and times.
- You are considered a “Center” student if you report to a classroom at your high school to complete your GOC course(s). You will complete your interim and final exam testing there, at your local home school. Please reach out to the facilitator in your classroom or your testing coordinator for your testing dates and times.
- You are considered a “Supplemental” student if you complete your GOC course(s) from home, you leave school during the day to complete your GOC coursework. Please see the supplemental schedule on the GOC webpages for your testing dates and times. You will test in person at GOC.
