Elementary Blended Classroom

 

Elementary students
During the first year of implementing the Blended Model in 2017, students received language arts and math instruction from a homeroom teacher, while GOC online teachers delivered social studies and science classes. Gradually, the local classroom teachers are trained to utilize the GOC digital content in each content area to provide a blend of digital instruction with in-person instruction.

 

Student achievement is high and this model shows tremendous promise to expand to other elementary schools throughout the district.
